Geotagger

or click to upload
The sticker is overlaid on your image with a map, location details, coordinates, and timestamp.

What is the Geotagger Tool?
This tool allows you to overlay a sleek, informative sticker onto any photo. The sticker includes a map of a chosen location, place names, coordinates, a timestamp, and even optional weather details. It's perfect for photographers, travelers, bloggers, and anyone looking to add a professional touch to their images.Step-by-Step Instructions
The tool is organized into simple, numbered sections. Follow these steps to create your geotagged image.Step 1: Add a Photo
This is the first and most important step. You have two easy ways to add your image:Upload from your device:
Simply drag and drop an image file from your computer directly onto the box that says "Drag & drop".
Alternatively, click anywhere inside the box to open your file browser and select an image.
A small preview of your uploaded image will appear in the box.
Load from a link (URL):
Paste the direct URL of an image into the "Or load by link" input field.
Click the "Load from link" button.
Note: This method will only work if the image host allows Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS). If the image doesn't load, it's likely due to this security restriction, and you should try downloading the image and uploading it directly.
Step 2: Select Your Location
Next, you need to set the location that will appear on your sticker's map and in the text details.Click on the Map: The easiest way is to simply click anywhere on the interactive map. A red pin will drop, and the location details will automatically update. You can drag the map and zoom in or out to find the perfect spot.
Use the Search Bar: Type a city, landmark, or specific address into the search bar and click the "Search" button. The map will automatically pan to the first result, and the details will update.
Use Your Current Location: Click the "Use current location" button. Your browser will ask for permission to access your location. If you allow it, the map will center on your current position.
Step 3: Edit Sticker Details
After you select a location, the tool automatically fills in the details. However, all fields are fully editable!Place/Name: This is usually the city, state, and country. You can shorten it or change it as you see fit (e.g., "Eiffel Tower, Paris").
Address: The tool provides a detailed address. You may want to shorten this for a cleaner look on the sticker.
Latitude & Longitude: These are automatically populated but can be manually adjusted if you have precise coordinates.
Date & Time: These default to the current date and time but can be set to any past or future value.
Step 4: Add Optional Weather Details
For an even more detailed sticker, you can add custom weather information.- Temperature: Enter a value like
29°Cor85°F. - Humidity: Enter a percentage, such as
75%. - Wind Speed: Enter a value like
8 km/hor5 mph.
Step 5: Render and Download Your Image
This is the final step where you see the result and save your work.- Click "Render Image": This will generate a preview of your photo with the geotag sticker applied. You can see how it looks in the "Preview" card.
- Review the Preview: Check if you're happy with the layout, text, and overall appearance. If you want to make changes, simply edit the details and click "Render Image" again.
- Click "Download Image": Once you're satisfied, click this button. Your final, high-quality image will be saved to your device. The filename will be automatically set to
GeoTagger_followed by your original image's filename.
Tips for Effective Use
- Use High-Resolution Photos: The tool processes images at their original resolution. For the best-looking final product, start with a high-quality photo.
- Check Text Length: While the tool automatically adjusts the font size to prevent overflow, a very long address might become very small. It's often best to manually shorten the address in Step 3 for maximum readability.
- All Aspect Ratios Work: The tool is designed to be fully responsive. It will automatically adjust the sticker's layout to fit perfectly on both wide (landscape) and tall (portrait) images, ensuring a professional look every time.
- The Power of the Preview: Use the "Render Image" button frequently to preview your changes. This helps you fine-tune the details before committing to the final download.
