Step 1: Network and sharing center.

Click Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Internet >> Network and Sharing Center.

Step 2: Wi-Fi status and it's properties

Click on your Wi-fi status mentioned there and you will see a window. Click on the properties option given there.

Step 3: Wi-fi Properties

In the properties, you can see the list of DNS and protocols. From that list chooses "Internet Protocole version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click on it.

Step 4: Internet Protocole Version 4

Now you will see a window of "Internet Protocole Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) properties". In the general tab select select "Use following DNS server addresses". Now all you need to fill out the two boxes given there.

If you want to use Google DNS, enter 8.8.8.8 as the Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 as the Alternate DNS Server.
